Dear James A. Perelman, I greatly appreciate your response dated 7/28/2021, as your staff continues to be un-responsive. The last response from your staff was on May 13th, 2021 and it did not fulfill the original request. I have sent follow-ups to your staff (with relevant attachments) on the following dates without ever hearing any form of a response back from your staff: May 14, 2021; May 24, 2021; June 8, 2021; June 10, 2021; June 14, 2021; June 29, 2021; July 6, 2021; and July 21, 2021. Are you familiar with the concept of "Redaction"? "Redaction" is the process when a record contains sensitive information (such as a Social Security Number) but that the sensitive information is first "Redacted" [or withheld under M.G.L. c. 4 ยง 7, cl. 26(c)] before the requested record is publicly shared thru a Public Records Request. Please refer to the attachment named "Nantucket_Applications_LpiUs4a.pdf" so that yourself, your staff, and the Public can all see examples of "Redaction". The expectation of your staff is to provide the records which I have requested, as is the expectation of any Public Records Request. This should not be a difficult task and should not take almost six (6) months to acquire the records which I have requested. Please let me know if there is still any confusion on your end and if I can clarify anything for you, but I believe the attachments are very helpful to clarify what is being requested. Please respond with the originally requested documents. Also, what is the ETA for the the receipt of those originally requested records? Sincerely, Josh Coffin
