Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:


The results of a query to the Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Information System pointer index  of the Investigative Reporting and Filing System, for records pertaining to the individual named Michael Alig.


Please note the following identifiers:


Date of Birth: April 29, 1966;
Date of Death: December 25, 2020;
First 5 digits of Social Security Number: 314-78;
Known Residence: New York, NY;
NYS Department of Corrections and Community Supervision issued Department Identification Number: 97A6595


Privacy concerns of deceased persons are considered diminished under both the Privacy Act and Freedom of Information Act. Mr. Alig was widely reported deceased as of 12/25/2020 in New York. Please see attached PDF for proof of death.


The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.


In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
